JAZZ AND TAPAS EVENING AT THE HOSTE ARMS
A fun `cabaret` style Jazz and Tapas evening was recently held in the Moroccan Garden, with fabulous local vocalist Keely Rayner performing her debut at the Hoste Arms. She was a huge success, enthralling the guests with her unique blend of jazz, motown ,cabaret and soul, and most guests couldn`t resist a dance!
A delicious Tapas menu was served which included chorizo and filo rolls, crispy parma ham, tempura squid served with aioli, tomatoe, aubergine and manchego bruschetta, smoked paprika and honey glazed chicken wings, olives croutes and tapenade.
The Moroccan Garden lent itself very well to this cabaret club event and we will be hosting more in the future.

MAD HATTERS CHARITY TEAPARTY HELD IN THE MOROCCAN GARDEN
Jojo of Jojo Hats ,and Gloria Hurn of the The Hat Shop at Pentney House in Burnham Market, hosted a fabulous ladies `Mad Hatters Teaparty` raising funds for The Lady Taverners Norfolk Region and Brancaster School. The tables were sponsored by Norfolk Living and decorated with lavenders kindly donated by BloominGorgeous of Burnham Deepdale.
It was a fun and glamorous affair with all the ladies ( and a few gentlemen too) looking splendid and behatted!
Well known historian Caroline Ashton talked `hats` ; the history of ..with many amusing anecdotes of hats and head gear gone by ( some with families of mice taking up residence in them!), and models paraded around the room sporting the newest summer fashions ( and yet more hats) from the boutiques in Burnham Market. The Hoste Arms Champagne Afternoon tea was a delicious confection with scones , cream and strawberry jam, smoked salmon finger sandwiches, tiny citron tarts, chocolate profiteroles, and pistachio macaroons. All served with refreshing cups of tea and copious glasses of pink fizz!
