Railway House and the Railway Cottages are located in the heart of the beautiful North Norfolk village of Burnham Market and a stone's throw from the coast.

The excellent shops of Burnham Market are a short walk - including a grocer, delicatessen, butcher, fishmonger, wine merchant and even a pharmacy.  At The Hoste Arms you can enjoy some wonderful seasonal and local food dining in one of the three restaurants, in the bar or lounge and during warmer months al fresco out on the fabulous Moroccan Terrace.  The Hoste also a great place to enjoy afternoon tea, a drink in the buzzy bar or a coffee on the sunny front tables.

Everything that you could possibly want for a relaxing holiday is within easy walking and driving distance.

Slightly further afield are the excellent restaurants along the coast at Brancaster, Holkham, Wells-next-the-Sea and Thornham. There is excellent sailing from nearby Burnham Overy Staithe and Brancaster, and seal trips to Scolt Head regularly depart from Morston in the summer.

The local market towns of King's Lynn and Fakenham provide further shopping opportunities and there is a direct train link to Kings Cross at King's Lynn, with hourly services to London, which is easily accessible by car and the Coast Hopper bus.
